Head Start

Mile High Kids’ Head Start programs are designed to address critical gaps in services for economically disadvantaged families. These programs focus on early childhood education, family stability, and health support, targeting populations living below the poverty line. MHK’s offers a wide array of services designed to support the holistic development of children and families. These programs include:

• Health and nutrition support, providing access to nutritious meals and health screenings to promote healthy growth and development. 

• Mental health services, offering counseling and support for children and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges. 

• Robust family engagement initiatives, empowering parents and caregivers to actively participate in their child’s education and well-being. 

The Head Start program is for children ages three to five. This early childhood program provides comprehensive services to children and families including health, education, nutrition, family services, mental health, disabilities, parent involvement and community-family partnerships.
